DOGGY DAYCARE

Why Fur Indoors Bridgend?

We are situated just off the M4 so we’re ideal for those living in and working in the Bridgend area and those commuting in either the Cardiff or Swansea direction.

Our team are highly trained professionals who love and care for our doggy guests as if they were our own. We can fully converse in dog body language so we know what your dog is telling us!

Day care is really cost effective. Our standard hours are 8am until 6pm but you can drop off and pick up any time during those hours. Need to arrive earlier? We can accept dogs from 7am by prior arrangement for a small additional fee. Get more for your money. Dog walkers can cost upwards of £10 an hour!! Yet we compare at only £1.95 per hour.

All of the dogs attending our Day Care are fully vaccinated.  Please ensure, before you book, that your dog is up to date with their vaccinations (including Kennel Cough).

We do insist on meeting your dog to assess them for their suitability and to make sure that they are going to enjoy there time with us.  We put our doggy guests needs first, above everything else.

You can book at Day Care Assessment online using the book now button above.  Don't forget to bring their up to date vaccinations record on the day to avoid
disappointment!  You can download and print off our day Care Assessment paperwork along with our Day Care terms and conditions by clicking the link above; fill them out in the comfort of your own home and bring them with you on the day.  If you don't have access to a printer, don't worry!  You can fill them out at our centre too.

What does it include?

Our Day Care Centre has been specially designed so that your dog has lots to do. Our Day Care is a free play environment. We do not use crates or cages. Every dog attending our Day Care must first attend an assessment and half day trial to see how they settle in, how they interact with other dogs and so that they can get to know us.  Un-neutered males older than 1 year old will not qualify for an assessment space.  The Day Care assessment is up to 5 hours long.  We only need you humans for the first half an hour.  Your dog will be assessed at their own pace with our team and other dogs.

In our Day Care Centre the dogs learn great dog to dog socialisation skills which help them to grow into well rounded and confident dogs in our care. We use positive reinforcement and force free techniques to ensure your dog has a blast.

Day Care at Fur Indoors Bridgend includes off lead play, our very popular sensory garden, lots of cuddles and love & enrichment activities.

Do you take them out in the public?

All of the dogs in our care stay within our huge facility. Our Centre is fully secure and comprises of an indoor play area, outside play park, and sensory garden.

We want to make sure that all of our canine guests are able to relax in a secure and safe environment. In public fields and parks we have no control over the actions of other dog owners nor can we assess the other dogs we might meet out on a walk in public areas to see if they are suitable play mates. How often do you hear about poorly socialised dogs behaving in an unfriendly way towards off lead dogs in public areas? We won’t put your dog in that position.

Every dog attending our Day Care MUST FIRST attend an assessment and half day trial which can be booked online as a DAY CARE ASSESSMENT. This is to see how they settle in, how they interact with other dogs and so that they can get to know us.

PERSISTENT LATE DAYCARE PICK UP:

We understand that sometimes things happen which make you late to collect your dog(s) from Daycare once in a blue moon and we are happy to accommodate these unexpected and infrequent eventualities without charge.

However persistent lateness is very unfair on our hard working team who have already worked a long shift (to provide you with consistent care/knowledge of your dog(s)' day).  Our team members have families at home who they want to be able to eat their dinner with, relax with and children that they want to be able to be home in time to bath and put to bed.

Persistent late collections mean that our team have to stay at work for even longer in order to take the best care of the Daycare guests who are still here, then perform the end of day sanitisation of all our Daycare areas.

Persistent late collections will be charged at £1 per minute.
